"Hello, my name is Tony Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is "Do it yourself home security systems," let's get started. Home safes; now this is an excellent way to protect certain files or anything else you want to hide away. Whether if it is even fire arms, expensive jewelry, any big memorabilia that you want to protect. A good way is to put it inside a safe, what I have here, it is a little dark in here because this is actually my closet. I actually have my safe hidden in my closet so I can reveal it a little bit (push clothes to the side) and you see a little bit more of it. Right now I have the key for demonstration purpose just to show you, but see what this safe is I have two things, I have a combination lock and I have a key lock. This makes it a little bit extra protected of course but more safes now these days are especially have a bolt into the ground option. So what I did I simply get these massive bolts and bolt them into the ground so that the safe cannot be lifted out. The safe alone is very heavy but now with it attached to the actual physical foundation it is not going anywhere. Now the best thing to do with these is put all your expensive or private, like I said belongings that you have that you don't want stolen for one thing. But the other thing is on fire, these most of these are fire proof, mine right here, this is a Century one this one is fire proof. So in the event if the house does burn down I have my medical records or any other credit card information things like that, that I want to protect are all in the inside of this. This is a great way to protect your stuff in addition to having all these other home security options."
