"I'm Tony Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to build a cd rack. In my case a media rack. Let's go! So I have removed all of my existing shelving that I had up already. Of course all the media that was on it. Now what I did is just got some graphing paper and I kind of plotted out exactly where my shelves are going to go. They are pretty much going to be 12 inches apart from each other. From the bottom point which is right here. So it is basically just your standard ruler so I would go ahead and just you know mark it right around there. I would say 12 inches up and give it a little mark. So now that I now that the bottom of my next shelf would actually be right up here. So like I said down here would actually be right up here. So I would just repeat this step the entire way up and this would actually give me my spacing that I need for my shelves. Which would give me a good clearance from the top of the DVDs or the cds whatever I have on here? So go ahead and plot it on a piece of paper. I lucked out and had a ruler that I would actually need 12 inches so I just did that and I would just repeat that all the way up and that would give my spacing for when I start leveling it with my laser level."
