"This is Rob McManhon for Expert Village. The other thing that could happen is that you can get a jam. When you get a jam you'll find that the pin will be stuck down all the way at the end here, and usually you can just take any long piece of metal and push it back up. But if the nail is stuck in the way then you have to adjust and take off the magazine. You are going to release the magazine, the nail will come out from here, and you can take the tool and push the pin up that far. Now if the trouble you having is an air leak, which you'll know because if the gun is not being used and you are hearing air leaking, not from the hose but from this area, it is time to get a kit and rebuild the gun."
