" I'm Rob McManhon with Expert Village. If you could use your belt sander for scribing say that you have a uneven floor and you are trying to set base boards to it you don't want any gaps. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use this rep of 2x4 to intimate a warp floor. You would hold it down flushed to the bottom and this 1x3 will seize the floor board. We will trace it. Know you can see how bad that line is. With a belt sander we will be able to take that away and we will make it fit. We are going to continue this line over here. Alright. The first thing we need to do is clamp the piece and take the belt sander. Now generally with a scribe this big you can use a jigsaw for it but it can be done with a belt sander and we are going to show how. "
