"Rob McMahon with ExpertVillage. It's very important to maintain your nail gun. You'll want to always keep it well oiled every day you use it. And, at least twice a year, or if you start to hear leaks in the gun, you will remove these screws here, and this casing will pop off. I'm not going to take it all apart right now. But, inside here there's a cylinder and a bunch of fittings that link up to the nailing pin. Each one of these has an o-ring to keep the seal. There's kits that you can buy to replace all of these. It's basically rebuilding the gun. Now, this takes about two and a half hours. But, if you keep your gun well maintained, it'll last you forever. "
