" I'm Rob McManhon with Expert Village. I'm going to demonstrate the use of belts sander. Here as you can see this 2x6 has a lot of roughness on it and we are going to get that out. So here is a button here and when you squeeze the trigger and hit that button and it would keep it on so your fingers don't get tired. The important thing here is to keep the sander moving and keep it flat so that you don't dig in and you keep it nice and smooth. Now its taken all that roughness away. As you can see it is still on this side over here it looks like a brand new piece of wood."
