"Hi this is Shana Bethune on behalf Expert Village. I'm going to talk to you about time management in your home office when you're working from home. It's very easy to work too little or way too much. So it's important to keep track of your hours, having things like a calender and clocks around in your office can help you keep track of the amount of hours you spend working. Make yourself a schedule or decide upon a certain number of hours that you want to make sure you're in your office for and stick to that. It's important to make sure that there's a line between your home office and your home life that you don't cross during certain times. When you're at home relaxing it can be tempting to go into your office for 5 or 10 minutes but that can turn into a whole evening and then you really end up with not much of a home life. And on the flip side take a 5 minute break can turn into an hour of watching a movie. So deciding upon a certain number of hours and making sure you keep track of the actual amount of hours you're working can be very helpful."
