"Hi this is Shana Bethune on behalf Expert Village. I'm going to talk to you about how to stock your home office with supplies. Now, when you're working in a larger office often paper, pencils, paper clips, envelopes, stamps, you name, it's supplied for you. But if you're working from home you need to make sure you have these things to yourself. So the best thing you can do is go out and buy a whole bunch of all the essentials. You can buy stuff like paper, envelopes, and pencils, pens in bulk and have them a lot of it around is easier to having to go out exactly when you need it. Some basic items that you need on a regular bases are pens and pencils, envelopes, paper and ink cartridges, batteries if you have any sort of electronic devices that take batteries and cleaning supplies are always useful. Having stamps around is also useful since you're basically isolated and working from your own satellite office, you're going to need to mail things to other people. So having stamps and envelopes around and anything else you need to create a mailing is very important. Keep a list of things that your running low on and make sure you buy more before you run out making your own supply cabinet or closet or drawer is also a good idea. You don't want to keep a whole bunch of envelopes in your desk because you might only need a few but keeping a backup supply of envelopes somewhere else in your office is useful. When you're working out of a home office, you are the supply center. So you're the one who's responsible for making sure you have everything you need."
