"Hi this is Shana Bethune on behalf Expert Village. I'm going to talk to you about keeping your home office clean and neat as part of your daily routine. You should clean your home office at the end of each work day. So that way when you start working the next day you're entering a nice clean office. Rather than starting off the day by having to tidy up in order to just do work also by cleaning your office daily. You want to allow for any sort of clutter to build up and it will be much easier to take care of. Rather to have to set aside a whole day to clean your office once a month since you spent so much time arranging storage space and making sure you have a spot to put everything you should really take advantage of this and put things away. It's also important not to bring food into your office. Another benefit of working from home is that you can eat lunch in the kitchen where you should be eating at. If you bring things such as beverages and any sort of liquid into your office and have it sitting by your computer there's a good chance you'll spill it, and end up with a really large mess. Keeping things neat and organized ensures that you'll be able to find everything you need when you need it and you won't have to hunt around which will save you a lot of time. You should also clean items that you use frequently like your computer, your printer to prevent any sort of build up of dust or stuff getting stuck in it. That way you can make sure that they work properly at all times even though it might seem annoying to have to clean your office everyday. It's much easier than devoting an entire afternoon to clean up a big mess."
