"We’ve somewhat let this sit up for a little bit. Normally, you’re going to give it a couple days to dry thoroughly. Again, you’re going to leave the grooves in there so your last coat will stick real solidly to the rest of the concrete. And then you’re going to go and add your extra- it’s going probably be a good inch of another coat of concrete. And this will be your finished coat, so you’re going to want to finish it a lot smoother. And you’re going to want to do different patterns, it depends on how you want to finish it, you know. If you want it to be kind of Spanish looking, you can do this kind of rough kind of scraping all over the wall. Kind of gets a rough Venetian look. You can do it real smooth. And you are going get pieces of straw that protrude through even your last coat, and that’s ok, that’s part of the beauty. It’ll eventually wear off and there’s no harm to it. That’s not going to hurt anything and that proves to everybody that it is a straw bale house. "
