"We'll talk about a fence. A fence is a standard piece of equipment coming with every table saw now-a-days and basically what it is, is a straight edge that is parallel to the cutting blade and will allow you to cut a piece and create a very nice straight edge. The adjustments of this particular fence which just happen to be Delta are very various. What you see here is a cradle, a cradle which rides in something called a rail, a fence rail.
