Starting an Indoor Organic Garden

"Today we'll be talking about setting up an indoor garden to grow your plants organically with the changing of the season. You?re not able to grow plants outdoors whether it's too hot in the summer or too cold in the Winter. So a lot of people have started growing their plants indoors either in soil or hydroponically. One of the main things is your going to have to be like Mother Nature so you?re going to want to go ahead and get yourself an appropriate light according to the size area that you are going to use. If your doing a four by four area a four hundred watt light would be sufficient. If your doing a six by six a six hundred watt. An eight by eight a thousand watt light. Along with the light you?re going to need some kind of reflective material whether white paint, Mylar is a good one that people use. It helps to bend the light or refract light as well as reflect it. Or they use the Poly film or Panda Film. It's black on one side, white on the other. This one is a little bit better to use because you put it on the floors and the walls and when your ready to tear the garden down rather than have to paint the walls and clean up the carpets and stuff you can just take this and throw it away. Along with the reflective material and the light your going to want to have a good ventilation, so you want a good intake and exhaust. There are several fans you can buy, whether it be a Squirrel Cage Fan, an Oscillating Fan, or an Inline Fan, it all depends on you, but you want to make sure you have proper intake and exhaust. That way the plants have proper gas exchange so that they can grow properly. Along with that you want to have an Oscillating Fan. What the Oscillating Fan does, it basically mimics the wind so it will make your plants stronger, they'll grow more straighter and stronger. Along with that, you want to make sure that you have a timer to set your light on and basically there's two settings. You'll have it on eighteen hours to help your plants grow vegetative or you'll go ahead and shift it to twelve hours of the light on and twelve hours of darkness to help short living plants go ahead and induce flower and put off fruit or flower.""
