"Hi! I am Steven from Keilholz Flooring on behalf of Expertvillage.com and today we are going to talk about some of the various types of tools you would use to install flooring in your basement. The first and foremost tool would be a standard tape measure. This tool will be used in all forms of floor installation. The second tool will be a standard floor scrapper. The third would be a hook knife and a utility knife, standard tools available at any big box store. We will also use a five in one today also available at any big box store. A trowel also available at any big box store. A 100 lb. vinyl roller, this you can rent at any big tool rental place there is and a broom which you probably have in your closet. "
