"Hi! This is Steven from Keilholz Flooring on behalf of Expertvillage.com and in this segment I am going to show you how to mix your mud and get the floor ready for your tile setting. The first thing I want to do is I want to take some of my flexible additive. I am just going to put enough into my bucket to coat the bottom. Always follow manufacturer's specification on the back of your bag and your buckets. They are going to tell you exactly how much to add. What I am going do I am going to pour this in and then I am going to add a little bit more of this then I am going to start mixing. When you get ready to mix make sure put your foot on the bucket, because it will take off on you. When you mix, you want to mix until you get a cake like consistency like a cake batter. After you get them mixing you want the let the material slack off in other words you want to let it set for a good 10 minutes. Make sure that there is no dry pockets in it, no big lumps. Give it one more stir after you get done letting the slack off and you are ready to set your tile."
