"Hi! I am Steve with Keilholz Flooring. In this segment we are going to dry fit our material. First thing we want to do is take our material, lay it down and roll it out. After we get our material rolled out we want to take it and lap it up the walls a couple of inches. Taking note to make sure it is square, if you are installing vinyl you want to make sure your grout lines are nice and even with the walls. You do not want the grout line running four inches up into nothing. You want to keep everything square as possible. You have your vinyl laid in, you shift it around a little with not a lot of pressure, just push down on it, get it in towards the walls a little bit. Next we are going to take our utility knife and duct tape, we are going to make a relief cut. We are going to cut straight down the wall. Then we are going to take some duct tape we are going to put that duct tape on it coming straight down as well so when we move the vinyl in the future it does not tear. You want to make sure to do that in all your corners inside and out. Next you want to put all the scraps up off your floor."
