"This is a little heavier than I would like for this particular faux. Sometimes it’s really nice to have a really deep dark faux, especially in some really cool places. You can create all kinds of looks by adding it heavier and darker in certain areas, and that’s ok. But this particular faux that I’m doing, I want to keep it light and fresh- you know, we just want movement on the wall; we’re not really looking for anything heavy, and I want to be real consistent with this entire room. So if you notice, I put on a little extra so you can kind of see what happens. Now that’s already dry, and I did this probably about three to five minutes ago, so you can already tell, I can touch it right now and it’s already dry. So in order to get some of this off, it’s not that intimidating- you just take your wet rag and you go in a circular motion to remove some of it. Please make sure that you do not focus in on one spot and rubbing around and around. Because if you do that you’re going to create a white mark. If you continue with that white mark, then you’re going to have some issues. If you do do that, make sure that you work around that area and kind of blend it out to make it go with the other and make it light. So blend out those circles that you created and you’ll be able to fix it later on. So it’s not a problem to fix- you just have to wait till it dries and then just apply a little bit more in that one particular area and just faux it again. And just maybe dab on it a little bit with your rag if you think you need to get a little bit more into it. It’s not that complicated, but the more you mess with this, the better you’re going to get- I guarantee it. "
