"There are different kinds of textures in all the homes. I would say, guessing, about five to eight different types of textures on the wall. This particular texture is called a trowel drag. It’s a very smooth texture and it really is nice for creating this old look. There are also different types like Monterey drag, and a heavier, thicker trowel drag. And all different ones take the glazing, or the fauxing much different. So when you start to faux, your texture might be a little bit different than someone else’s.
