"So now that I have my design already traced out and penciled on the door hanger, I'm going to trace over that with my Henna. I'm being careful to cover the pencil so that I don't have to worry about erasing anything. I'm also going to go leave a little bit of the design open for embellishments with some glitter glue. So I can either make a straight copy or I can shade some of the areas with the tip of my pen here and it might add a little bit extra dimension to the finished product. So I think I do some shading on the lines that would stain the wood. Basically how Henna works on the skin is a little bit different from how Henna would work on the wood. Because Henna exfoliates from the skin and fades over a period of time. But when you use it on wood it actually would stain the wood and it would actually get darker over time, once the paste flakes off. So I'm going to continue tracing my pencil design in Henna and follow the pattern. "
