How to Design a Henna Door Hanger

"So now I have already traced my hand outline onto the wooden door hanger and I'm going to pick something to embellish the middle. So I'm going to go in my traditional design book and pick out some elements that I think might accentuate the hand best. I think I'm going to use this for a sample. So I'm just going to draw the design onto the wood as a outline that I can follow later with my Henna. I will not make the lines too thick so that way I don't have to worry about erasing it when I do the actual Henna. So a lot of inspiration that you can use can come from something like even jewelry designs or fabric or you can just take it straight from a Henna design book. But I like to use something original in addition to a design that I found by another designer, so something of my own contribution to the actual finished art work."
