"Hello this is Peggy Carlton speaking for Expert Village on budget decorating. One of the biggest problems with older homes that people live in are they don't have enough closet space. We bought this home it is about 80 years old and we are slowly redoing it. But this but my bedroom or my husband and I bedroom it has one closet and it is pretty large but I'm afraid that I take up everything. So this is the guest room that we are in right now and there is no closet it in and it use to be a dining room that was converted into a bedroom. Well the way that we did that since we have a antique theme in this room we went and found this at a antique place half price or on sale and it was a $150 and this is where my husbands keeps his close. He has all his pants and shirts in there, shoes down on the floor, he even has a little mirror in here to look at and sometimes when you buy this things they don't shut good occasionally if they are really cheap. Well this one shuts pretty good but if it ever has problems we just get a little rubber band and put it across there and it doesn't look bad at all. But like I said this cost a $150 I put the quilts on the top which makes a nice little statement. But instead of putting a closet in your room which would cost hundreds of dollars if you have to hire a carpenter even if you have to do it yourself giving the lumber, the shelving and all this is a great budget way to have a closet."
