Removing Sediment from a Kettle

"Now I'm going to show you how to take sediment out of an electric pot. When you live in a place where the water is very hard you get sediment very often on electric parts. An easy way to take it off is we use vinegar which most homes have handy. What we do is we boil some water. If you have a lot of sediment on the pot, you put a higher level of water but usually I do it once a month or so and I don't have that much sediment on my pot and I don't use that much water. I'm just going to pour not too much, but a little bit of vinegar and I'm going to boil it. I leave the pot open so we keep on boiling but of course you shouldn't leave it by itself like that because it will never stop automatically. Another way of doing it if you don't want to use vinegar, you can use lemon salt that you can get in the store. You put it in and it does a good job too. You see I'm going to pour this water and you're going to see the water becomes very cloudy with pieces of sediment."
