"Hi! I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today, we are going to learn how to build a barbecue pit. So now we have successfully completed digging the hole into the earth and we have set around some one by one concrete blocks to support our gravel that we are going to fill into here to level this up. What we will do first is check the existing level of this earth and as you can see, it's not level at all. So we will need to bring up this side about an inch and half to make it level. We also are going to remove a little dirt on the uphill side so that we will bring this down just a little bit and kind of dress this uphill area and level that. We also want to remove any plants and organic matter and roots from this area. "
