"Hi, my name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to talk about the proper use of a high speed polishing machine. Okay we've prepared the paint surface to be polished, we've protected off high risk areas of the vehicle and most importantly we have protected ourselves. Now we are ready to go ahead and polish. There are a few things to know. Backing up a step, this vehicle the paint is in pretty good condition and there is very fine scratches just from driving through a car wash and what not so today we are going to be using a non-abrasive polish. But for starters, this is how we are going to be holding our buffer. If for those of you who are left handed, if I can get it off here. For those of you who are left handed, this handle can be switched over to the other side for those lefties. I am right handed so we are going to leave the handle on this side. Also I suggest putting the cord over your shoulder. This will keep the cord off the paint, keep it from scratching and also keep it out of the way of the buffing pad. Again you don't want any loose articles of clothing. I've seen people wearing headphones buffing their vehicles. This is a Walkman here and the cord to the headphone got wound up in the buffing machine and next thing I know they are up like this getting choked by a buffer. So, keep safety in mind. "
