"Hi my name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village. Today we are going to talk about the proper use of a high speed polishing machine. After every use of every tool it is always good practice to maintain your tools. By maintaining them I mean keeping them clean and in good working order. This would make the tool work better and safer for the next time you go to use it. After you use your polisher it is going to be pretty dirty, full of compound or glazes or polishes from splatter. You may want to take some time to just clean the machine. One of the simplest way to do it is just basically spray some household cleaners onto rage. Then wipe the machine down. Notice though I did not spray the cleaner directly on to the unit. This is an electrical appliance and you would not want to soak your tool with anything liquid that can shock you later. Again practice good safety; unplug the device and notice again that I'm spraying onto the rag and then wiping the machine down. If you have a air blower handy you could also blow the machine out. There is a lot of wool that is going to get trapped inside the fan and other areas. The brushes you could use the air blower can blow this out but again using a tool like that as well as using the buffer. Please always practice good safety and wear your safety glasses. "
