How to Use a Yard Edger

"Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, today I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a yard edger. All right I am going to go ahead and start it up and demonstrate how to use this. But also keep in mind I am going to find the edge of the concrete and I am also going to angle the head slightly on the angle and that will cut the grass back just a little bit and probably make it a little bit longer before the next time I have to edge, so here I go. Again, you can go forward or backward. Personally I prefer to go backwards. It is just a little bit easier for me. I am going to give it a little bit of throttle and I am going to start probe with the blade looking for the edge of the concrete or sidewalk. At the same time, you can do the same thing going forward. There you have it. Then you can come out with a blower and clean up th edge. Now you have a nice clean edge on your lawn. "
