"Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, we are going to talk about the proper use of a hammer drill. As we mentioned earlier, this particular model has a keyed chuck. this is the key and this is the chuck. Now this key is of particular size that was designed to fit this chuck. Most drills come with some form of something to store your chuck in. Some will fasten to the drill itself and others will have provision on the cord. It is imperative that you maintain good storage practice and stow away your chuck in a place that won't get lost because in the case where you have a keyed chuck, if you lose your key, you are not going to be able to tighten your chuck down onto the drill bit so practice good storage practice and put your chuck in the appropriate storage or holding position.
