"Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, I would like to teach you you how to use and properly maintain a high limb chainsaw. Most chainsaws, power pruners or high limb chainsaws have an automatic oiler. This particular model has a reservoir that you would fill with oil and during use. would automatically oil the chain and bar. The alternative would be to manually oil the change. During the use, you could use WD-40 or some form of household oil whether it be in an applicator or spray. From time to time, you would want to lubricate the bar and chain. But again on this particular model, it has an automatic oiler that we would fill it up with bar and chain oil and while we are using it, it automatically keeps it lubricated. "
