"Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and today on behalf of Expert Village, today I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a yard weed eater. Okay let's take a look at the choke now. On this particular model, the choke is located on the back of the carburetor on the side. Since the choke is part of the carburetor, you will find it on most units close to the carburetor. But this particular one requires that we close the choke or put the choke onto the on position by sliding the lever all the way up. Next we have the primer bulb and if you can see the primer bulb here, this is what primes the carburetor or injects a little bit of gasoline into the carburetor to help the motor start. And how we use this primer bulb, if you haven't used it in a long period of time, you might find that the primer bulb is dry or empty of gas so it may take a few extra pumps. Most cases 6 pumps is typically sufficient so we will go ahead and press the primer bulb 6 times. "
