"Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village today, I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a yard weed eater. Let's take a moment and talk about proper storage and handling of your yard tools. For the gas powered, there is a little more to know than the electric power yard tool. Gas powered if you are going to be storing for extended period of time as I mentioned earlier, you want to put a fuel additive or fuel stabilizer in the gas to help keep it from gumming up an making a mess of your carburetor and then the next time you go to use it, it won't start. The gas powered if you are going to store for any extended period time, use that stabilizer. Other than that there is not much that you need to prepare the tool for prior to storage. Though I do suggest storing your gas powered and electric yard tools in a cool dry place. "
