"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to be talking about how to create a warm and inviting entryway for Christmas. In this clip, let's talk about using Christmas decorations in your front entryway. We're talking about decorating for the holidays, creating a very warm welcoming entryway. You can use Christmas typical icons, things like Santa Clause if you wish, but what I tend to do for an entryway is to use winter icon. Staying clear of Christmas, and using things like snowmen, which I would qualify as winter icons, or snowflakes hanging off this tree here. If you can stay clear of Christmas decorations, you can sometimes get a little bit more longevity out of your front entry way. It doesn't have to be with everything. Some of the things you can keep and have there for a little bit longer, and other things like say Christmas ball, after the holiday season is over. You might want then to for January keep this silver but intersperse some red berries sticking out of here, or change it up a little bit and add something in there for say the new year. Keeping in the theme with Christmas decorations, don't forget about the winter icons, things that will give you a little bit more longevity in your holiday decorating and it will extend into the new year in case, let's say you're having a new year's party as well.
