"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to be talking about how to create a warm and inviting entryway for Christmas. In this clip, let's talk about decorating your entryway using plants. These plants can be both real or artificial. In earlier clips, we were talking about the sense of smell. If you use real plants when decorating, for instance, poinsettias. You can't necessarily smell them. They look very colorful. They look very fresh. You can smell them a little bit, but it will add to that sense of aroma when people first walk into your home. As well, you can also use really garland if you so desire to. Any sort of real plant is always quite lovely, especially when you're first coming into an entryway in someone’s home, in your home. Again, if you're using artificial, many artificial plants look so real. We've got various different flowers here that are artificial but do look very real. It doesn't necessarily have to be also right in the entrance way, but in the front hallway areas as well, going down a set of stairs, or going into another room too. Garland is always nice, especially around the holidays where you can intermix berries with it as well that can add in with the real or the artificial flowers and plants that you desire to use."
