"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to be talking about how to create a warm and inviting entryway for Christmas. In this clip, let's now talk about using your sense of smell to decorate your entryway. I know that it's not visual, but when people come into your home, the sense of smell, the things they smell, are one of the very first things they will pick up on. Some really simple things of course, if you've been doing any festive holiday baking and perhaps your entryway is close to your kitchen, that smell will of course have walked into the front hallway. What if you haven't been doing any baking? You can of course burn candles or use plug-ins that have sort of an apple cinnamon scent or a vanilla scent, or whatever scent you'd like. Think about the 5 senses. First, people will see things when they come into your house, but more importantly too, they smell things. What do you want your house to smell like when people come into your home? Is it warm? Is it inviting? Does it feel warm and cozy? Something to think about. "
