"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to be talking about how to create a warm and inviting entryway for Christmas. In our first clip, let's talk about decorating the entryway from the outside to the inside, which is why we've began out here. Especially if you live in a snowy environment around the holidays, you need to number one; make sure that you have a well shoveled and well groomed maintain front walkway leading up to your front door. You want it to be welcoming and you don't want people to have to have snow all over their boots. That's very key first and foremost to have a welcoming open walkway to your front entryway, to the front doorway. Also, you want to keep it well lit. You want people to feel welcome when they come into your driveway and they're walking up to your door. You want to keep things lit, decorated slightly around the front doorway, but avoid clutter as well. In our up coming clips, we'll then move in doors and we'll head in towards decorating and having your entry welcoming on the inside."
