"Ok. As you can see now, I've drilled into the plug. And, left just a very thin wall of plug left at the outside. I'm going to take a small chisel, like this. This is a quarter inch and place the chisel right as close to the edge as we can, without getting off into this wood. The furniture wood on the outside. And, give the plug a tap or two. And, crack it like that. We'll want to go all the way around the plug. Sometimes, you can get at the edge of it and push it in just like that. Or, like that. So, you can see our plug is coming apart into little pieces. And, just take a pair of pliers like this and pull the pieces out. And, there you go. You have your plug out. But, you saved your hole. And, now you have the right size out for when you put a new plug in."
