"Ok. Now, we're going to talk about removing a plug that's already in a piece of furniture. And, saving the plug if we can. Often in a piece of furniture, the plug will be the right color or a particular shape or particular size. And, you want to try to get the plug out without breaking it. So, we're going to do a couple of things here to show you how to remove a plug and save it. If it can't be saved, we'll also do a step on how to remove it by breaking it in pieces. So, our first step is going to be to take a small dill like this. And, drill a hole in the center of the plug as close as you can get. Just a little bit, about half way into the plug. And, we'll take a screw. Put the screw down into the plug just a little ways. That ought to be enough. Now, we'll take a little pair of pliers. Grab the screw and wiggle it and see if the plug will come. There you go. That plug came out. And, when you put the plug back in after you've repaired the piece of furniture you'll want to take a wax stick. Which is available at your local wood store. And, fill this hole. And, that will disguise the hole. It will fill it up with the same color. And, you can get away with putting a little bit of finish over the wax. Usually, you can't put finish on over wax. But, a little dot like that probably be ok."
