"Now that we have are patch installed and clued down. I am going to trim it just a little bit. I am going to use a sharp flat chisel. Just go right down this edge a little bit. This edge a little bit. Just taking off a little tiny bit of wood. That looks pretty good. If you patch is on the edge of a piece of furniture. We usually leave a little bit hanging out. So we can do a nice flush cut along the edge. Just using a craft knife with a pretty sharp blade. We will cut it just like that. Just take a little bit of sand paper. I am using twenty grit sand paper it is very fine. Just sand that edge a little bit. This patch also sticks out a little bit from the edge. You could cut that by just putting a straight edge down. In this case I am just going to do it free hand. Cause this is only a demonstration I will cut straight across the patch like this. I will take my chisel and lift the little bit that I cut off out. Nice clean edge there. Then we will go over the whole thing. With a little bit of sand paper"
