"Ok. Now, that we have our saw setup with the tape for the measurements for the length of the pieces on the base I'm going to go ahead and take this piece of stock that I just ran through the table saw that has two smooth edges. And, first I'm just going to square the edge up so that we got a straight piece of wood to work with. As straight as this stuff gets. Ok. Take a look at that and see how straight it is. It's ok. That's about as close as we're going to get with this stuff. Because, like I told you it's pretty crazy material. I'm going to lay this straight edge right up next to the piece of tape that I put on there before on my cop saw and cut two pieces for the lower base. Ok. I have these pieces cut now and I did the same thing to cut two pieces that are six and a half inches long. So, I'm going to use the eight and a half pieces now. And, we'll measure it up. Because, what we want is a base that's eight and a half inches. These two pieces are seven and a quarter inches. So, I need to cut one more piece. Which, I did here on my table saw and cut it to length to add it to these pieces to make the proper width. Eight and a half. Now, I'll give you a tip. When you cut this stuff on a table saw, sometimes you're going to need to straighten out and flatten the edges so it will glue together. So, I did that to this one. And, these should glue up just fine."
