"Now I'll show you how to apply the piping to our irregular shaped pillow cushion. We'll start again at the bottom of the cushion; this is the bottom section of the cushion, and I'll place my piping. Again, just like the other you want to start curved in a little bit here, and then line it up along the edge. And you're sewing right along the edge of the piping. And we're going to be pivoting right here at this corner point, which is right here, so I'm going to snip to that point, and we'll stop there and I'll show you what to do about the curve that comes up next. Now this next section is curved, and the piping is a little bit too stiff, it doesn't take curves well, so we'll measure about how much we're going to need to go around the curve, and I'll just mark that end of that curved section with a pin. And then what you want to do is just make little half inch cuts, about every inch, and this will help to make the piping curve better and move to the shape of the irregularity. Okay, so now it's snipped, and again, this is a corner here, we're going to just kind of fold that down, and we'll put it back on the machine. And now as we go along the edge, you'll just keep lining the edge of the piping along the curve, and you can stop and re-adjust. And the little snips help to make the piping curve more easily."
