"Okay, now I've sewn my side panel on, almost all the way around, and now I'll show you what to do with the, where the zipper panel starts and the side panel ends. You want to be able to have a little bit of a fold back like this to hide the zipper on the other side. So what we're going to do is, here's the corner of the top panel, and we haven't sewn down this side yet, that I've just pinned a little bit there. And you want the side panel to actually come up further and fold back and then this will overlap like that. So go ahead and measure that, pull it up and take it back about two inches and snip it. And then we're going to cut that side panel there, that will give us the size. And now, if we sew these two together right here, so I'll have to take it off of the machine at this point, and we're going to sew right sides together. The end of our, the beginning of our zipper panel with the end of our side panel. You can switch to a straight foot or you can just sew it with the zipper foot if you want. I'm going to leave the zipper foot on there, a 5/8ths seam allowance with the regular stitch, being careful when you go over the zipper ends because it is extra thickness and be careful of this little metal part that they use to secure the top of the zipper. You don't want to run over that with your needle. And secure that. And now you have, it's much longer. See, it's longer than the side and what you'll do is you'll fold and overlap the side panel like that. And now you have, and now you have, it fits nicely. And on the other side, I'll show you what it looks like, when we flip it inside out, you get this little bit of an overlap. It's almost like a little pocket and that's where the zipper pull will be. Okay? So let's turn that back and we'll put it back on the machine and we'll hold that all together. Now, be careful, there's a lot of thicknesses there. There's the overlap, the bend and the zipper panel all at once. So, if your machine has difficulty going over these thick parts, you want to use the hand wheel and go over it stitch by stitch. And go right, continue right to the corner, making sure the piping is not being sewn over. You give it some reinforcement stitches at the end. And now we'll repeat that same process for the top panel. Okay, so this is what our first side should look like."
