"Hi! I’m Katrina Cameron and I’m going to be talking to you about those receipts that we always save up to the end of the year then we scramble to get organized and give to our tax person or if we’re going our taxes it can be such a headache. So here’s an easy way that you can set up a system to take care and organize your receipts so that when that time of year comes for taxes, it’s not a big headache. What you need is a receipt basket for keeping all of your receipts that come out of your wallet. So once a week you really need to be taking out your wallet or emptying your pockets of all your receipts in your purse and putting them in a basket. You don’t need to handle them right that instant but you do need to handle them once a week because otherwise, if you wait longer it really builds up. You also need to have 2 different receipt folders that have sections in them, especially if you have a home business or if you work in an office you can also have receipts for business. It needs to be just from the current year that you’re in right now otherwise, the previous years get filed away."
