How to Texture a Ceiling

"This is Kevin at Expert Village. We are going to get a big lump of ceiling texture and apply it. Sometimes we really can't get enough on the roller and if you find you can't get enough on your roller, you need to bring it up and apply it directly. You better watch out though because cracking can occur if the material or the texturing is applied too thickly. If minor cracking does occur, we need to thin out the material to the consistency of paint and apply it with a brush or roller over the cracked area. Just like as if we were applying a coat of paint. That way we can repair any cracks that may occur. "
