"Hi, my name is Kevin on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to talk to you about sander safety. When you using a sander the most important thing you need to do is always wear a dusk mask. Because even though sanders, and most sanders have a dust collection built into them, there's always going to be sand dust is going to be cast into the air and your going to need a dusk mask to catch those dust particles and keep them from going into your respiratory system. So that is the most important thing you can do, also what you want to do when your using the sanding machines is wear headphones because although they may not sound loud, the repetitious noise over and over is really going to start to irritate your ears after a while. Some machines are a lot louder than others and it will be easy to not want to use them but you should always use headphones when operating these machines. Another thing you want to do is when your using a belt sander like this is to always use two hands in a good firm grip on there because it is really easy for the power of the machine for this thing to want to take off so you really want to have a good firm grip on the machine like this. On a more roundable sander like this you can one hand this but also a good firm grip is really important to remember when operating this machine."
