"Today we are installing weather stripping around an exterior door. Once you have it cut you just want to slide it in. now, this is the old stuff that we haven’t removed yet. Just slide it in; you might have a few nails that you might have missed. Hammer those in. and you just want to press firmly- you don’t want to force it because then your door will have a hard time closing. And just take a little nail, or screw that came with it. Now, probably a few out of ten times, the screws or the nails are not in the package when you buy it at the hardware store. So before you leave make sure that the screws are in the package. If they’re not, just get a different one; that way you don’t have to drive all the way back. And that’s how you would install the weather stripping around an exterior door. "
