"Today we have installed a new faucet on an older sink, which we’re going to put in our new kitchen remodel. What we’re doing is we’re just going to connect the supply hoses, which can be one standard size, but they’re not. Just know the sizes of your pipes, or ask your local plumber and they can tell you what size it is by what year your home was built. You just want to tighten it about half a turn after you can’t tighten it by hand anymore. When you install your sink, you connect these to the supply lines. That’s how you would install the hoses on your new faucet. "
