"Hi! I'm Lori for expertvillage.com and today we're at Archibald Flowers, and we're going to talk about how to purchase flowers. Roses have different meanings depending on the books you've looked through. There's a lot of different flower books that give you the language of flowers. Roses; there's always specific meanings. Meaning that yellow is for friendship; white is for purity; red is for love. That's probably why for anniversaries we sell tons and tons of red roses, because everyone knows that red roses are for love. There’s a lot of new colors that they haven't always named all the colors. Pink is for joy. There's what they call a bicolor on a rose, which means it has two colors in it. Whether the edge is one color and the rest of the rose is another color."
