"Hi! I'm Lori for expertvillage.com, and today we're at Archibald Flowers and we're going to talk about how to purchase flowers. Sunflowers again, Gerber daisies, those are really long lasting type flowers. Tropical flowers are very, very long lasting and they're really great to have in your home because you can put these in a vase and they'll be there for probably 2 weeks if you maintain the water level and that sort of thing. Birds of paradise. I know a lot of people in California have those in their yard and they think I don't want birds of paradise. These again, they continue to bloom and they're really great flowers to have because they do last so long. Lilies and things like that. We see a lot of trend on the lilies. The lilies are again, the same type of situation. When they have multiple flowers on a stem like this, the smaller ones, the ones that are more open, will open. Then you have these other ones, so they'll continue to open. You have that whole process when something dies off you still have flowers that are available to you."
