"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village, in this video clip I will be talking about priming. For my trim boards I'm first going to paint a exterior primer. This is going to help my paint a hear it to the boards. This product is just painted on, you want to make sure you have a nice even coat and if you have it a little bit thick it is a little bit better then having it to thin. I'm going to paint the top and the sides of my board but I'm not going to paint the back. Once our trim has been primed we need to prime a little bit on the side of our house. Now although our sheets come preprimed we need to prime in a few areas one been the seams of which of each sheets come together. I'm also going to prime along the top seams where our old siding meets our new siding. This is just going to help our exterior paint we put on to in hear better."
