"Hello, my name is Jose Zuniga and I'm representing expertvillage.com. Well as you can see we have definately cleared the space where we're going to be planting our palm tree and our vincas and hopefully in the future some more plants. Well let's start with the palm tree. Normally the rules call say whenever you're planting a palm tree, stay away between 6 to 12 feet away from a house, any foundation that includes a sidewalk, the driveway. Also in between one palm tree and another one giving that 6 to 12 feet separation. When it comes to vincas, we're going to plant the palm tree in the center and I'm not too concerned about that, because as you can see I have a small flower bed. I don't foresee myself keeping this plant for a long time, so we're going to be okay. Now, the vinca is going to be right in front of them and they're going to have the space that it requires from one plant to in a different kind of plant. We're going to leave them the space from one plant to another, because we want those roots to just grow and take over. We want them to be healthy, we don't want them to die. So these are some of the steps in guidence that I suggest for you when spacing one plant to another. So remember, at all times spacing is very critical and this is how we space for our home garden."
