on 9/18/2008 Celia is right.what kind of work is that?poor workmanship!!He can't hang drywall for nothing.He's usung three sheets to sound proof.LOL All he had to do is spend more money for sound proofing drywall board and end up using one sheet to hang where he needed sound proof.He need to go back to drywall school because that bad work he's doing.I hope he don't run a drywall company.If so BEWARE!!!!!!

on 8/22/2008 How do you expect to attach the wall plate for the electric outlet now? Since you're using three layers of wall sheets (original drywall, Homasote, Sheetrock), the outlets are now two sheets deep.

"Like I said if it a dead electrical I wouldn't worry about it I would have covered it up. But since it's live and they need some electricity back here. I took the time to cut it out. Like I say you get to both outlets now if it was a little bit more to this side over this side, that would've been fine, a little bit more on that side I can always patch it up if it was too bad, but that's good enough. Alright now this is, it says all purpose joint compound. Especially for Sheetrock when you want to cover your seams put the tape on there, cover your seams up. So what you do is you take a little compound, let it groove in the screws so once you slip it on there it'll cover it up. Now sometimes you got to sand it to you know what I mean, to make it smoother. But in this case, remember I told you about your mistakes don't worry about it because you're going to use this here to cover it up."
