"Hi! I'm Joshua Lindsey wtih CFM Building Science Solutions. On behalf of Expert Village, we are going to do a quality assurance walk through on this house. Nothing that we are going to go throughout and talk about is, throughout the house you are going to have these smoke detectors like this. You are really going to want to bring a stick in here with you and push that little button on it. This smoke detector at least in this area right here which is Tuscon, Arizona, the inspector requires that the smoke detector is attached to all the other smoke detectors in your home. So when a fire happens and one goes off, all the rest of them goes off, so you know that it is time to get out. If this smoke detector, if you push that button and it doesn't make the other ones go off, you've got a problem and need to check into that. So you want to go through and push every single one. Push and make sure that they ring with the other ones. "
